You don’t have to watch the video, here’s the run down …

Lil’ Red & The Rooster are back in the studio in September 2024, this time in Columbus, Ohio with Bobby Floyd on B3 & piano along with  their Parisian Combo. There will be more guests announced, so stop back in from time to time. To keep their music at the quality you’ve come to expect, they’ve created a virtual Jukebox and win/win FunRai$er just for you.

The Jukebox:

The Jukebox represents a portal to collect support for all their future projects. All monies donated go directly into music production. In return, you will be invited into the journey of creating and releasing the music. For as little as $5, you can join the ride. There are different levels that have larger and larger offers for larger and larger donations. There may be multiple projects happening at once, no worries your coins will open the door to being a part of anything going on. They’ll be working with you to make this a true fan win/win!

Why?:

The music industry is changing rapidly and they’re getting creative and adapting along with it. In the past CD sales covered the cost of recording the next album. Since streaming has grown in popularity there are less and less physical music sales. To make money streaming it requires recording often, a large fan base and a little luck getting on playlists and picked up for film and TV. They could record at home one track at a time like most contemporary music, but they want to hire real top notch musicians, go into the studio and sink deep into a groove to give you the very best for their style of music. This is an opportunity to support their music, the musicians they hire and the studio and other artists who are paid to contribute to the creation of new releases.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS ...

September 2024 is the time, Columbus, Ohio is the place where Lil’ Red Records will produce the third Lil’ Red & The Rooster album, 7, seven original songs and two extra cover songs that will be released as singles. The Rooster has been busy evolving and he’s ready to take you into 60’s 007 Jazzy Blues vibe with Grammy Winner Bobby Floyd on B3 and piano. Don’t know Bobby Floyd? Well, his first job in his 20’s was playing organ for Ray Charles and then went on to take the keys in the Count Bassie Orchestra. He’s a gem in Columbus Ohio’s rich jazz scene. The Rooster was feeling a bit lonely for his home country so he’s invited his Paris Combo to join us, Pascal Mucci on drums and Jean-Marc Despeignes on bass. We’ll keep you up to date on more featured artists as the project evolves.
